Anyone caved in and broken their New Year’s Resolutions yet? I have to say I am doing pretty well but there has been times when I have really struggled and just wanted to eat take out, sat watching TV all weekend whilst spending my whole wage on clothes and make up. But…Here’s my updates.
Drink at least 2 litres of water a day
I am sticking with my 2 bottles of Volvic Litres and always drink them when I’m at work or when I’m working out. The times where I really struggle is if I have a rest day at the weekend which then I find I barely drink a litre! I really need to work on it and am really trying my hardest!
Be More Active
I am for sure being more active and absolutely love it! My weekly routine does vary slightly but on an average week I do the following:
Daily – Walk the dogs for minimum a mile once a day
Monday – 1 hour 15 minutes of Yoga
Tuesday – 1 hour at the gym
Wednesday – 1 hour 15 minutes of Yoga
Thursday – 45 minutes PT session
Friday – Rest day
Saturday – 45 minutes PT session
Sunday – 1 hour – 1 hour and a half gym session
Like I said this does vary slightly, depending on plans which can’t be changed or when I can fit my PT in but I feel I am now at a place where everything I do, I enjoy.
I have saved a decent amount of money so far but also spent my money wisely. Nights out with the girls are still important but as long as I have saved my minimum desired amount, anything else is just a bonus. I do still treat myself to things, but only things that I actually need.
Eat out Less!
So if any, this is the resolution I have failed on the most (EEEEEK) However I am still not claiming full responsibility for this! I have been invited to so many places to eat and been to some cute little cafes for tea and cake (which I guess counts.) I have to say, if this is the only Resolution I don’t do quite as well on then I’ll still be happy.
